BRAND NEW DESPICABLE ME2 LIVE SHOW AT

HUNTER VALLEY GARDENS THESE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS!

This April school holidays family and friends will get the chance to see Stuart and Jorge come to life during the brand new Despicable ME2 live show at Hunter Valley Gardens. Other featured activities during this event are the treasure hunt, storybook jumping castle, Dress up competition and train ride on selected days throughout this fantastic event.

Please note that Hunter Valley Gardens Easter Long Weekend activities will be held in conjunction from the 18th – 21st April 2014.

 

DETAILED PROGRAM

Despicable ME2 Show:

1st show – 11.00am

Meet and Greet – 12.00

2nd show - 1.00pm

CHARACTERS: 2 x Minion Characters (Jorge & Stuart) and 1 x Show Host

 

Despicable ME2 Dress up competition:

A competition will run across the two weeks where children under 16 years can dress up as their favourite Despicable ME2 character for a chance to win two family passes (Snowtime and Christmas Lights) each day (one per show) and are then entitled to go into the main draw at the end of the holidays. HVG Staff will choose the best dressed at the 11am and 1pm show.

Major Prizes for Finalists (Competition closes 27th April at 1.30pm, winners contacted by Tuesday 29th April):-

1st Prize - One nights accommodation midweek, including breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids including entry to the gardens

2nd Prize - Family Annual Pass

3rd Prize - Family Voucher to Christmas Lights 2014

Face Painting: 10am – 2pm 12th – 18th April and 21st – 27th April, 10pm – 4pm Easter Saturday 19th and Easter Sunday 20th

Be enchanted by our face painting fairy. Children will have the opportunity to select from a variety of designs.

Storybook Garden Jumping Castle: 10am – 2pm 12th – 18th April and 21st – 27th April, 10pm – 4pm Easter Saturday 19th and Easter Sunday 20th

Hunter Valley Gardens very own Storybook Garden themed Jumping Castle will be onsite. (Weather permitting). User pay $3.00 per child per jump.

Treasure Hunt: Every day 9.00am – 5.00pm

The kids can become Garden investigators. When completed, hand it into the customer service staff in exchange for a prize.

Colouring in Competition: Every day 9.00am – 5.00pm  

Colour in Despicable ME2 Picture and go in the draw to win a Family Annual Pass. Patrons to drop off coloured in picture(s) at Entry or post to HVG when completed. Competition closes 27th April at 5.00pm, winners contacted by Tuesday 29th April. Two age group categories – 6 yrs and under and 7 – 12 yrs.

Hunter Valley Gardens Train: Daily

Parents and children can enjoy a train tour around the Gardens. A charge of $20.00 per family (2 Adults and 2 Children), $7.00 per adult or $5.00 per child will apply. (Train will not operate during Easter Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th April).

Additional activities are happening on 19th and 20th April including the Hunter Valley Gardens Giant Easter Egg Hunt, the baby animals petting zoo, a gingerbread workshop (additional cost) and the Easter Bunny will make an appearance!

Entry to the Gardens is $26.00 per adult, $15 for children between 4 – 15 years of age and FREE for children 3 years and under. Hunter Valley Gardens is open daily from 9am to 5pm.
