Esca Bimbadgen awarded 'Restaurant of the Year'
Bimbadgen, one of the Hunter Valley’s most picturesque and award-winning wineries, is excited to announce that its restaurant, Esca Bimbadgen, has been honoured with two highly-coveted awards - including ‘Restaurant of the Year’ - as part of the Northern NSW Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence 2014.
The ceremony, held in Newcastle last night, saw Esca Bimbadgen awarded ‘Best Restaurant in a Winery’, before taking out the ultimate prize of ‘Restaurant of the Year’.
Executive Chef Jonathan Heath said, “We were exceptionally honoured to be nominated, let alone to have won these awards among such tough competition. Both awards are a great reflection on our team at Esca, who dedicate themselves to providing the best possible food and wine experience for all our guests.”
Bimbadgen General Manager, Rebecca Poynter, said the awards are a great recognition, as results are determined both by well-respected judges and consumer voting.
