Marthaville Guildry Craft and Gift Centre, 200 Wollombi Road, Cessnock (opposite Aldi Store), is open every Friday and Saturday between 10am and 4pm. The rooms of this historic twin gabled home, are filled with an extensive range of unique, locally hand crafted items. It really is worth a visit.
Forty outdoor works by prominent and emerging Australian and International sculptors will be placed throughout the twenty acres of beautiful gardens surrounding the Gate Gallery, making this sculpture park the first of its kind in Australia. Visitors and collectors can enjoy the works throughout the year in the ever changing seasonal landscape. All works are for sale.
Setsuko Ogishi’s glass is well known by Australian art glass lovers. Setsuko has been working with glass for over twenty years, exhibiting throughout Australia (including Parliament House in Canberra) and internationally. Setsuko Ogishi Art Glass Studio is one of only a few glassblowing studios in Australia, and is the only one in the Hunter Valley which is open to the public. Setsuko's first studio was established in 1987 in Wollombi, New South Wales, and moved to Rothbury in 1999.
