Sacred Spaces Singleton

The Singleton Sisters of Mercy Convent is the Motherhouse of the Sisters of Mercy in the Hunter Valley. The 1892 Convent has become known as a beautiful and unique 'living heritage site', open for guided tours, concerts, weddings, workshops, room hire and other activities.

The convent is set in spacious gardens, creating a unique atmosphere of peace. Gracious buildings date from the mid nineteenth century and display remarkable architectural beauty. Guided tours tell the story of the Sisters and the convent, while the magnificent Sisters' Chapel is particularly suited to weddings and concerts. The gardens are also available for photos, and rooms and spaces within the building are available for hire. Do not underestimate this site. It will surprise and delight you.
