McCaffrey's Estate is a family owned and operated vineyard located on the popular Hermitage Road, Pokolbin in the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country.

Stay in one of our self-catering two bedroom cottages for a relaxing escape in the countryside, a wine tour adventure or to enjoy one of the many popular concerts in the Hunter Valley. Unwind by the pool, picnic in the vineyard or curl up with a glass of wine by the fire, every season has something wonderful to offer in the New South Wales, Hunter Valley.

Our Cellar Door is open for wine tasting and sales on weekends from 10.00-5.00pm.

Award winning restaurants, boutique cellar doors, wedding venues, day spa, horse riding, a micro-brewery and a dedicated bicycle path all on our doorstep right here on Hermitage Road, only 2 hours north of Sydney.

Get Directions

FROM SYDNEY: Head north on the Pacific Motorway (M1) towards Newcastle, follow the signs to the Hunter Expressway (M15). On the Hunter Expressway follow the signs toward Singleton.

FROM THE NORTH: via Pacific Highway (A1), Port of Newcastle, Newcastle Airport and the Pacific Motorway at Beresfield: Follow John Renshaw Drive (B68) access the Hunter Expressway at the Buchanan interchange. (You can not join the Hunter Expressway from north at the Newcastle interchange.)

To get to Hermitage Road continue to the end of the Expressway where it joins the New England Highway and then turn left into Hermitage Road (Hermitage Road exit). McCaffrey's Estate is located 6.1 km on the right hand side of the road.
