Bigger & better than ever – Harrigan’s celebrates it’s re-opening!

Harrigan’s Irish Pub is a long-time favourite in Hunter Valley Wine Country and for 19 years it has been the place to meet, celebrate and relax with family and friends for locals and tourists alike. Over the last 18 months the venue has undergone a major renovation, the results are stunning and will cement Harrigan’s as a must visit venue in the beautiful Hunter Valley.
Now that the refurbishment is complete it’s time to celebrate the re-launch in true Harrigan’s style – great family friendly events in the day followed by epic live music in the evenings.
The re-opening festivities will run over three days from Friday 19th July to Sunday 21st July 2019. Kicking off the celebrations on Friday night is local favourite Viper Creek Band performing their signature upbeat country rock set.
On Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 3pm we’ll host face painters as well as cute and cuddly creatures from Hunter Valley Zoo! From 1pm enjoy live music with Matt McLaren on Saturday and Troy Kemp on Sunday – it’s the perfect family day out.
Saturday night celebrations are on us with 80’s legends Dragon performing a selection of their greatest hits including April Sun in Cuba. Then DJ Savage will get the dance floor pumping with your favourite dance tunes including his very own Swing. Plus, because we are celebrating there will be no cover charge to see these amazing musicians.
Harrigan’s renovation features a fully refurbished bistro, new lounge bar area, sports bar and an indoor/outdoor VIP area. The outdoor extension encompasses the terrace dining space, outdoor bar, alfresco dining area and our new Harrigan’s Burger Bar. The refurbishment sees the venue given a great new contemporary look whilst staying true to its rustic Irish roots with fireplaces, booths and other charming architectural features.
One of the major changes is the launch of Harrigan’s Burger Bar in the new alfresco terrace area which offers a delicious range of burgers and pizzas for those looking for a great value, casual evening. Inside, the bistro has a new menu that matches the modern Australian and Irish fusion of the venue.
The remodelled bar space allows us to cater for sport enthusiasts, cocktails lovers and live music aficionados! Harrigan’s is a unique venue as it promotes and supports family friendly dining, whilst still accommodating the live music crowd. The refurbishment continues our ethos of being a venue for everyone and we are very excited to officially open our completely refreshed pub to the public.
