Margan Wines highly awarded results
2021 Halliday Wine Companion
Announced at Thursday night’s James Halliday Wine Companion 2021, Margan Wines have again been awarded 5 stars and have had two of our wines included in the “Best of the Best” Varietal categories.
“We are over the moon with the results and so excited about our current line-up of wines as they are true expressions of their terroir and variety. This recognition is testament to our 100 hectares of distinguished vineyards and to our wine making. We have placed a sharp focus over the last ten years on our viticulture, including grafting over to better clones, improving canopy management and upgrading our Sustainable Farming practices. In the winery we have been experimenting with several different techniques which reinforce the distinctive qualities of each of our single vineyard blocks. In addition, we work hard to ensure our wines maintain freshness and reflect the outstanding quality of our grapes and the excellent vintages we have recently been gifted.”
