Set to Light Up the Region this June Long Weekend!

After the devastating floods in July, the village of Broke has shown remarkable resilience. Now, the local area is rallying to reclaim their spirit and vitality with the much-anticipated Smoke in Broke BBQ Festival 2023, scheduled for the June Long Weekend.

The festival, renowned for its celebration of smoky flavours, craft beer, and country music, is determined to shine brighter than ever this year. "This year, more than ever, we need to come together as a people, and what better way to do that than over some BBQ, beer, and great music", said Rob and Randi, the resilient festival organisers who also reside in Broke.

Devastated by the effects of the flood on their beloved village, the duo is now leading the charge in rallying the community and inviting people from all over to enjoy the festival and the boutique village of Broke NSW.

As part of the festival's push to draw more attendees, there's a special invitation to out of town visitors. "We want people to come back to our region," says Randi, "We have so much to offer, and this festival is just the beginning. We welcome visitors with open arms, and we promise a weekend full of fun, flavour, and festivities."

The festival has always been a beacon of community spirit and resilience, but this year, it's also a symbol of the village's recovery and determination. "A year in reflection has shown so us just how strong and united we are as a community. We've faced challenges, but we are coming out stronger," Rob adds.

Country music lovers are in for a treat with headline acts like Travis Collins, Katie Jayne, and Will Day set to take the stage. These artists are set to provide the perfect soundtrack to a weekend of good food, good beer, and even better company.
