Rediscover Chez Pok
From its passion infused beginnings in 1984, the restaurant at Peppers Guest House was intended as a meeting place for the flavours and the people of the Pokolbin region. On Friday 1 February, Chez Pok will return and all food and wine lovers are invited to rediscover this Hunter Valley institution.
Chez Pok has a long association with the wineries and produce growers of the valley. The restaurant was opened in 1984 and named for the region. Its homely feel and French inspired heritage provides the perfect setting for an exquisite meal at any time of the day.
The menu still reflects the change of seasons in this great food and winegrowing region. Only the freshest ingredients are sourced and you can taste the difference. The wine list includes renowned wines from traditional and new generation local winemakers, but there is also a carefully selected international listing.
Dining at Chez Pok is a magical experience, in the conservatory looking out across the valley, at a romantic table for two on the outdoor terrace or by the fireside in winter. Let Executive Chef John Edwards and his passionate team take you on a great discovery of the Hunter, using classic French cooking fundamentals that lend the cuisine an honesty and elegance.
Indulge in a few days away. Marvel at the scenery, sigh and relax. You’re with friends.
