Tuscany Estate welcome new Executive Chef
Tuscany Wine Estate Resort is excited to announce the arrival of their new Executive Chef, Rebecca Kaye, who is joining them from the Fairmont Hotel.
As an award-winning international Chef, Rebecca has carved an indelible reputation for culinary excellence in some of the world’s leading hotel and restaurant kitchens. From twin Michelin stars; Chefs Hats; and Best Hotel/Top 10 Fine Dining awards, her double Honours certificate in Tourism and Hospitality and unwavering strength in many male dominated kitchens have served her well.
Some of Rebecca’s achievements have been Foie Gras for Fergie, Wilted spinach for the Queen Mother and Gulls eggs for Princess Di. With Sly Stallone, Madonna and Sean Connery on her regulars list, Rebecca Kaye has made quite an impression on the culinary world.
Published in South Africa, awarded gold, silver and bronze in the Salon Culinere and deemed unstoppable by The Ivy and Le Caprice’s Tim Hughes, Rebecca joined the Fairmont Resort as Executive Chef in April 2011, returning the Blue Mountains icon to its former glory.
Tuscany Wine Estate would like to welcome Rebecca not only to Tuscany but the Hunter Valley Wine country. Starting with Tuscany in mid-November 2013, Rebecca has been bought in to reinvent their Food & Beverage operation, bring with her passion and spirit for food and wine.
