November 14th 2015 - FLEETWOOD MAC IN THE HUNTER VALLEY

FLEETWOOD Mac will tour Australia in October with Christine McVie back in the band.

The new tour will see the classic line-up of Stevie Nicks, Lindsay Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie and John McVie.

The On With The Show tour also sees the return of John McVie, whose cancer diagnosis saw the band cancel a planned Australian tour in 2013 when he needed to undergo urgent treatment.

Christine McVie who joined the band in 1970 when married to McVie, left the band in 1998.

She rejoined last year, meaning Mac classics Songbird, You Make Loving Fun, Little Lies, Everywhere and Don’t Stop are once again sung by 71 year old McVie on stage.

Fleetwood Mac will play Allphones Arena in Sydney on October 22 and 24, Domain Stadium (formerly Patersons Stadium) in Perth on October 30, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on November 2 and 4, Mt Duneed Estate in Geelong on November 7, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on November 10 and Hope Estate Winery in Hunter Valley on November 14.

There are no dates for Adelaide.

Tickets go on sale 10am April 1, with details at livenation.com.au

The band are in the midst of an American tour which sees them on stage for almost two and a half hours, with the setlist also including The Chain, You Make Loving Fun, Dreams, Rhiannon, Tusk, Say You Love Me, Big Love, Landslide, Gypsy, Gold Dust Woman and Go Your Own Way.

There will be an American Express members presale from March 26 and a Live Nation members presale from March 30.

The On With the Tour started in September last year, with McVie responding well after cancer treatment.

“I’m not the least bit worried about John. He’s very, very strong and a man of very few words. He’s not a person to mess with,” Stevie Nicks said in January.

A new Fleetwood Mac album, with McVie, is expected to be released after the tour ends.
