Do Art and Honey mix?

Local photographic artist John Lechner is getting set to showcase his local work in the vineyards

Just returned from a successful show in New York City’s art district John is bringing his Hunter Valley works to Hunter Valley Gardens for just 10 days.

“After showcasing our beautiful region in one of the world’s top art cities, it is fantastic to be able to showcase that work locally. The Hunter is my home and I love showing it off to people around the world. Capturing it through my art is the perfect way to do that”, said John.

John will have a pop up show in the General Store at Hunter Valley Gardens. The back of the store has just undergone a transformation preparing it to be the “Hunter Honey Hive”.

Before the Hunter Honey Hive opens in mid September, which includes a variety of honey products and tastings, John will take over the space for a pop up show.

The pop up art exhibition will run from Friday 21 to Sunday 30 August and feature John’s artworks from the wider Hunter Region.

These works include traditional framed and mounted fine art prints as well as John’s innovative Art on Glass which needs to be seen to be believed.
