HUNTER VALLEY UNCORKED BALMORAL: BRINGING THE HUNTER TO THE SEA

The tastes, sights and sounds of the Hunter Valley will come alive on Sunday 8 October at The Esplanade, Balmoral as Australia’s oldest wine region showcases its amazing food and wine as part of Hunter Valley Uncorked Balmoral.

Presented by Wine Selectors, Uncorked Balmoral celebrates the epicurean delights of the Hunter Valley giving visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Hunter Valley way of life while unearthing the pleasures of this beautiful wine region.

Meander through the myriad of stalls and sample gourmet delights or sit back and enjoy the live music from Soul Shack Entertainment set amongst an exquisite fusion of wine, food and good company. 

Visitors can make the most of their time sampling the Hunter Valley’s finest wines by purchasing Riedel wine glasses and four tasting tickets online prior to the event for $31 while souvenir wine glasses can be purchased on the day for $10.

In addition, signature Hunter Valley Riedel wine glasses are available exclusively to event visitors for just $15.  Wine tasting vouchers are also available for purchase on the day for $4.00 each.

Wineries taking part on the day include Allandale Winery, Briar Ridge Vineyard, Brokenwood Wines, Colvin Wines, De Iuliis Wines, First Creek Wines, Glandore Estate, Hungerford Hill Wines, McLeish Estate Wines, Margan Family Wines, Mistletoe Winery, Mount Pleasant Wines, Mount View Estate, Oakvale Wines, Pepper Tree Wines, Peter Drayton Wines, Peterson House, RidgeView Wines, Saddler’s Creek Wines, Tamburlaine Organic Wines, Tulloch Wines, Tyrrell’s Wines, Vinden Estate and Ironbark Hill Brewhouse. Restaurants and producers involved include Bar Coco Pty Ltd., The Deck Café Lovedale, The Cellar Restaurant, RidgeView Restaurant, Muse Restaurant, Hunter Valley Cheese Company and Pukara Estate. Entertainment on the day will be Soul Shack Entertainment.

The event begins at 11am, with the last wine vouchers sold at 4.30pm and last wine poured at 4.45pm. The day finishes at 5pm.

The Mosman Rider will be providing easy access to the event with free shuttle buses running every 15 minutes from Mosman and Spit Junction to Balmoral Beach thanks to the support of the Mosman Council.
