Looking for something different to do in the Hunter Valley this Spring/Summer?

Briar Ridge, winner of the 2018 Best Tasting Experience Hunter Valley award* has added a new bespoke tasting space to their boutique cellar door in Mount View.

The Briar Ridge Wine Garden is now open, offering visitors a unique and fun wine picnic experience in their beautiful and tranquil gardens. Complete with comfortable outdoor lounge chair seating and mountain views, visitors are invited to book a private garden space to relax and enjoy a bottle of Briar Ridge wine along with delicious cheese and antipasto platters made with fresh produce from local Hunter providores. Wine and cheese picnic packs start from $38 and cater for two to four people. Groups are welcome.

Those looking for the complete Briar Ridge Tasting Experience can also book a Behind the Scene Tour of the winery which includes a complimentary glass of the popular Varietal series wine, as well as a taste of maturing wine straight from the Barrel! Tours commence at 2pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and cost $20pp.

Briar Ridge Vineyard is a boutique winery and cellar door located in Mount View in the Hunter Valley. Originally founded in 1972, the vineyard is well known for producing wines of outstanding quality and distinct character thanks to Mount View's position in an unmatched part of the Valley.

Located onsite, the Cellar Door offers visitors a unique tasting experience. Open daily from IOam-Spm, tasters can sample Briar Ridge's diverse portfolio of Hunter classic wines, alternative varieties and contemporary blends at the tasting bar, on the tasting deck or in the wine garden. With wines and tasting experiences to suit every palate, Briar Ridge is fast becoming a destination cellar door in the Hunter Valley.
