Wombat Crossing Vineyard

Visit us and enjoy an unhurried, personalised wine tasting at our cellar door. Wombat Crossing is a boutique, single vineyard winery that focuses on producing limited releases of sublime-tasting table wines. With our first vineyard planted back in 1996, and our first vintage released in 2005, developing exquisite wines has been at the heart of the Wombat Crossing philosophy. 

Our vineyard is planted with Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz, Carefully tended to and maintained to an exceptional standard, Wombat Crossing’s vines produce exemplary fruit. Vintages are only ever released when the team have tried and tested and feel they’re ready.

As one of Pokolbin’s smallest wine families, we like to take a quality-over-quantity approach. We know that excellence can take time. We respect our natural surroundings, only releasing vintages that match our ethos of refinement, consistency and character.  

As they say, ‘patience is a virtue’ and that stands true for Wombat Crossing Vineyard. 

Our Cellar Door is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Go to our website for opening hours and to book your tasting. We have a tasting fee of $10 per person, a portion of which is donated to Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue. Don't forget to also book your antipasto lunch box to enjoy by our dam.
